Early sketch...at this point I had the idea for a small drop window. We knew we were going to use cameras for the rear vision which is the small

area in the B-pillar. Rear hatch was oval and the CHMSL light integrated into the top edge...

By this time we had determined the content of the fabric for the seating and flooring. Both materials were made from 100% recycled soda bottles, and had passed all FMVSS tests for automotive fabrics.

Even the hatch cover was to use this type of fabric.

final design image for the Typ1. By this time the design language had been determined. The oval rear hatch, the solar roof stripe, the door mechanism, the lamp and intake shape, the rear lighting from side to side...it was all there. Too bad we couldn't get the light "stripe" on the front wheel
